Well, first of all; Was it a worm or a snake?
Work more with the background and with shades, that's what gives animations "more life"!
Good first attempt, but remember! The more work behind it, better it get!

Not much to say... it depends on what you are aiming for!

Put in some action music, a reason why you and the "cool dark guy who is evil" are fightning. Maybe cuz of a hamburger or a pocketpussy!

But still, keep the good work up! :)
